Hello friends! Today I want to show you my new still life "Vegetables on a blue drapery".
I combined cauliflower, tomato and okra with blue drapery.
Okra (gombo and lady's fingers) is a green or red vegetable that looks like a pod of chili pepper. Nothing is known about the native land of this plant, but it is widespread in Africa, North America, India and the tropics. Some call it the homeland of West Africa, others - India.
In Europe this vegetable was brought by the Arabs.
Okra can be eaten raw, or prepared by various methods: marinate, fry, stew, added to soups and salads. To taste it reminds eggplant.
