You write to show off your talent... or to express what's in your heart?
An artists only concern is to shoot for some kind of perfection. And on his own terms. Not anyone elses.
Yet a real artist.. I've noticed.. will survive anything.
Kids are innocent. And they haven't been destroyed by the world yet.
That's the reason to why being a kid is a far better example than any adulthood.
I guess part of me wishes I could still be that innocent. but I've seen the things I've seen and.. I know I'll never have that innocence again.
Doing what I love is the only time I can feel a sense of peace.
"But im hungry.. But you're also a young lady.. so you'll be judged every moment of your life. And the world doesn't give a lick about you or your wants. What the world cares about is maintaining an agreeable semblance of order. If you help maintain that semblance of order, you can do what you like. But if you disrupt it.. the world will come after you."
That's how you get to the bad men. You let them see what they wanna see and then you cut them down.
