Photo taken in snow on the way from Oslo to Bergen.
The route is the famous "Norway in the Nutshell" which in summer times travellers take more then 5 train, ship, bus rides to transit and reach the other city for the extraordinary views in middle of the jounerys. You will see green grassland, forest, mountains, waterfalls and more stunning natural sceneries that explain how Norway looks like in the 1-day ride.
In our journey, we chose to go by car to save $$ and better manage our time. Unfortunately it was winter time during our trip that we weren't able to see the best view but only landscapes covered by heavy snow. Yet, it was not bad coz I very much like snowing and seeing a world fully covered in snow! It's like Narnia to me literally!
It could be troublesome sometimes, when you stepped out of the car, fingers will get frozen in few seconds, camera of phone battery will drop to zero soon if they are exposed to cold air for couples of minutes!! When we stepped back to the car, we started to feel wet in our clothes or hats if they are not completely water-proof... and more importantly, some roads to travel back across the mountain will be blocked if the snow is too thick on road or if there's any snowstorm coming up!!
Besides, it's impressive that Norway actually has very long tunnel coz most of the lands are with mountains and forests (exactly how I imagined when I heard of this country name in the Japanese movie name "挪威的森林 Forest in the Norway"), therefore people would need tunnels to direct their ways efficiently to reach destinations. The longest tunnel I have crossed equals to the diameter of HK city - more than 25km! Isn't it amazing? The others take also at least 10-20 minutes commonly.
