the real question is, are they too dumb, or am I too smart? maybe both :). incapacity to appreciate and evaluate risks... and worst to apply what is learned from the event...

example dubai nuke plants can go belly up, but it's not too bad, in the sense the great kingdom of ksa is vast and their won't be much rain / drift etc... we hope :)

with dna / synthetic rna / syntetic dna, it's play with fire... in the sense that nuke plants don't seek to reproduce themselves, they just blow, contaminate and follow basic physics law...
