My granma used to take seedling of poppys, she hade like 7 diffrent kinds in her garden :D
I passed this superb red show when i was traveling, i actually forgot she hade passed away, I did stop to get her plants. Took me a good while to reset my brain and leave them be...

Not all poppies are red. They also come in yellow, orange, and other colours.
Poppies are considered a symbol of both sleep and death. According to Greek and Roman mythology, poppies were used on tombstones to symbolize eternal sleep. They also symbolize the blood for fallen soldiers on the battlefields of war.
