The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, remember that movie with Ben Stiller skateboarding down the beautiful town of Stykkishólmur, a village on the Snæfellsnes peninsula in Iceland that's a photo of a drone shot of me on a mini-cruiser down the road.
The other locations of the movie include Höfn, a village in southeast Iceland (I will talk more about these places in the next post:) Seyðisfjörður, Skogafoss waterfall, and Vatnajökull National Park. And of course, as beautiful as they are, I cannot, for the life of me, even try to attempt at pronouncing them.
And hello, my name is Rain and I prefer to be behind the camera as much as possible! I have been a nomad, working in the outdoor education industry before Corvid-19 interrupted my livelihood. No longer a world traveler at the moment so I have to go on adventures in the country I am currently residing at now.
Iceland was a chance encounter proposed by a friend who is a researcher on a project which is to assist scientists in logistics, coordinator, etc working on a project in finding similarities between the terrain on earth to that on Mars.
We explored the very much active geothermal areas of Iceland, the highlands, the caves, the icy lagoons, etc and we are totally smitten with the majestic beauty of it all.
