While lots of accounts are still powering down, we can see the culture of powering up being back in the game, mostly thanks to the new author/curation curve that was introduced in HF21. Some Big accounts 100k+ that powered down, are powering back up. Some people are removing delegations from bots, and excessive use of them is starting to diminish. That seems interesting so far. There are still lots of shady and faulty doings around that are a bit harder to spot or just public secrets everyone will overlook somehow, yet it stings so obviously in the corner of our eyes.
Steem Power looks something like a ZPM from SG:A. My account is still on earthy level of capabilities, maybe some dirty energy from coal, or possibly nuclear fission - most efficient energy source known on Earth (so far). I started powering up from the mid-August, but couldn't miss a chance to support SPUD especially #5. so in total in the last two weeks I powered up 3170 STEEM, out of total 11,200 I currently have - close to 30%, and I am not planning to stop there. + 100% power up on this post!
Next on the menu, to use for a quick update on @Crowdwitness operations:
We are currently on a great 69th place, in August we produced about 220 blocks, which makes it a very pricy steem, with negative ROI when we throw in infrastructure payments. Nevertheless, we keep powering up and investing in our project time and money and we keep growing. If you haven't heard about @crowdmind yet, check our website, and if you like what we stand for and we try to bring to our awesome platform, approve work of our witness. :)
After all this powering I feel a little bit powered & pumped up! Here is appropriate song:
