Back to Bendigo town, it looks like a little cosy town with lots of cafes, restaurants and green areas to chill. However the point of the is neither on the people, architecture or parks, well maybe a bit on the parks of Bendigo but... on the Flying Foxes!
What the hell about foxes, even more about flying? and all of that in the town. Hang on for a little bit more. They are actually one of the biggest bats (flying mammals) in the world but don't worry... they are not blood-sucking bastards, nor Dracula's offspring. These hanging fellas are actually vegans, or even more precise fruitarians - speaking in common language, they only eat fruit.
With their large ears, and a head resembling the miniature fox and wings name is becoming very logical. :)
During the day they hang on the trees in the parks and protecting themselves from the sun - if they are not sleeping they would just squirm here and there, readjust their wings. It is crazy to see them in such a large numbers but still they are very quite.
Until the Sun sets! As soon as it goes down, the whole colony gets off the trees, we didn't manage to get to their "tree houses" in time even do we attempted few times, but... over the night they would fly around, eat fruits and with a screeching sound terrify every living being.
