In this video I tried to do a short explanation of voting power. I noticed that for some people its not totally clear how it works so maybe this video will help :)
Summary:
- Untill 500 SP you will always upvote 100%
- After 500 SP you will have a slider to decide how much % you want to upvote.
- One 100% upvote costs 2% of your VP
- Means that a 50% upvote only costs 1% of your VP
- Each day your VP regenerates 20%
- This means that you can vote 10 times a day without going down in VP
- You can check your VP on steemnow.com/@username
- Here you can also see how much your votes are worth
