In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God...
Think about it, without words we couldn't write, read, sing or praise.
We wouldn't be able to express our pain when there is no physical trauma,
We wouldn't be able to say words of Love Peace and goodwill.
We wouldn't be able to write to give directions or express ourselves.
We wouldn't be able to communicate with others the love for one another.
If you took away all that contains words, thoughts and sounds
like books, phones, TV's, radios, etc.
Where would we be?
Would we be like animals making sounds hoping someone can understand us?
Would we be like birds chirping at sunrise?
Would we be like forest creatures hidden amongst the trees.
Now that you understand, without words we are nothing
We were given a gift, the gift of life which is truly a miracle it seems
We were given the words to understand that
without God nothing would be as it seems.
God gave us life, God gave us the words
God gave us special things to make us different from the animals.
He gave us ears to hear and listen,
He gave us eyes to see and read,
He gave us voices to express our desires and needs,
He gave us special people to sing and praise,
He gave us all we need to be all we are,
So be thankful for what you have,
because it is a gift from God.
