My first in the #monochromemonday contest taken walking along Hunstanton (UK) Beach. I liked the way the sea defence wall looks like a big wave and the seagull just happened along at the right moment.

The Hunstanton Cliffs themselves are a striking deep rust red and white and are known for miles for they're attractive colours, especially when we get a good sunset over The Wash. I took these in black and white and found that they're equally as stunning without the colour.

Here's another shot from further along the beach. One of the great things about these carrstone rocks and chalk layers is the abundance of fossils including echinoids, fish, sharks’ teeth, bivalves and brachiopods, ammonites and more. (I have some).

Happy Monday everyone
