Scouting is a youth organization worldwide. Its aim is to provide physical and emotional development of the youth so that they can contribute significantly to the formation of society. The scout movement started Lord Baden Powell in 1907. He was a retired Lt. Gen. of the British Army. Currently, 100 million scouts and guides of the world are represented by various scouting societies.

The proponents of the scouting movement
