And you're completely missing the point that all decisions we make as people are based on emotions, while logic and reasoning remain dormant as a rationalizing mechanism. Of course if I want to sell my

The amount of ignorance here (both the post and in the comments) is astounding. Here's my perspective as a consultant/ freelancer/ small business. If I don't advertise, I don't get clients, I don't get

Yeah, but why would people do that? I don't get the reasoning - if you're going to upvote, wouldn't you want to upvote things that you find worthwhile? Isn't that the entire idea of SteemIt?

While the comparison to reddit is okay, this isn't reddit. Money is actually involved here. It would be quite easy to argue that specifically ANY monetary return on a social platform is a gain, especially

I can't exactly understand how you see attacking innocent content creators as heavenly. Well, for one, it's not an attack, in the same way that downvoting for reddit isn't an attack. It's little more than

Giving away my book. Hoped it'd get more reach on steemit, and it kinda flopped. Putting it here for the common good.

I was always under the impression that copywriting was sales writing. That's how I was trained, that's what I do. Content is an entirely different beast, and I don't feel the two are compatible.
