Reggae Culture Rewarded - more than just posting!
This post will include my collective thoughts revolving around how tribe members of reggaesteem can obtain more JAHM aside from simply posting articles. As one of the curators on Reggaesteem, I am always on the lookout, reading and upvoting posts. I have a ton of extra JAHM to provide quality content creators with through curation efforts. You ask yourself, "what do I need to do to maximize JAHM earnings?"
Well, here's a short list:
- Read the posts - learn - and provide an upvote if the post peaked your interest adding value to the tribe
- Comment - your thoughts either positive or negative
- Comment on comments
- Upvote those comments yourself
- Do not upvote your own comments
When these things are happening, there are specific things curators are looking for:
- Well thought out comments
- No one word comments like "nice," "cool," or "wow."
Worthy comments, as mentioned above, that are well thought out and provide either some support, criticism, or feedback will find that several tribe members will upvote these comments, resulting in FREE JAHM.
How much JAHM can you expect to earn?
Well, payout rewards are split 65/35.
- 65% to the content creator
- 35% to the content curator
It's not rocket science, nor is it a secret - it's right there in Black and White.
You can Earn More JAHM you say?
Yes - that's right. Now these are just some of my personal voting methods. Others may have a different viewpoint, but nonetheless, here is how I try to maximize my JAHM earnings.
- Keep your VP up
- Vote within the tribe (as much as possible)
Miscellaneous voting simply depreciates your voting strength. The stronger your mana, the more voting JAHM you have at your disposal. I try to never let my VP dip below a certain threshold. So whenever I upvote a high voting percentage, the JAHM amount curated through my upvote is that much more. It shows strength and also enables other smaller users to earn some FREE JAHM in the process. We are all in this together. One Love.
When my VP drops below or nears 90%, I allow my mana to regenerate (usually over night). Sometimes I see a lot of people posting outside the tribe, which is all good, however, if you concentrate your focus and attention purely on high quality RS articles, you will be raking in a high quality reward token in JAHM.
Personal Example
I have posted several articles recently, all receiving just fractional penny payouts (in STEEM), but these exact same posts earned me nearly 600 JAHM. 65% of 600 for content creation is roughly 400 JAHM. Now you may be saying 400 JAHM, but that is equivalent to about 20 STEEM when you do the math.
Yikes - do you get the message I am trying to convey?
