This orange ginger margarita I bring to share with my amazing hivers and friends is a classic recipe. This margarita taste so good with the combination of a simple but delicious homemade ginger syrup I made from my kitchen.
What could be better with fresh sweet succulent squeezed orange 🍊 juice, adding the ginger syrup and some touch of rum 🍹. Its indeed a classical drink to enjoy the evening after work which I did.
This very recipe I stumbled upon while looking out on the Internet for a new recipe and way to enjoy ginger in a drink without blending. And luckily, I came across this recipe courtesy on KTV Cocktails page . Writing By:KIRSTEN TURK.
Its so fascinating how refreshing and delicious the drink taste with how I have also made my own version of the ginger syrup with just little ingredients of water , granules sugar, crushing the ginger instead of dicing for more of its juice.
Its really encouraging sometimes to try something new and the best being how this recipe does not need lots of ingredients. A margarita that did not disappoint my expectation and that is why I will like you all to try it. Make it a cocktail 🍹 with rum, vodka, gin or a mocktail by simply omitting the alcohol but adding a club soda.
Here are the detailed step by step for this refreshing margarita 🍊🍹.
1 large fresh succulent orange 1/2 glass of water 1/2 thumb of fresh ginger 11/2 tablespoons of premium sugar
10 ml of Captain Jack Rum
Step 1.
The orange and the ginger are the base ingredients here. But we will first make the ginger syrup.
So we peel the ginger , dice and crush it as above.
Step 2.
We pour half glass of spring water into a pot, adding the sugar. Then set to boil.
We stir and allow the sugar to dissolve. Then we add the crushed ginger and incorporate.
Step 3.
While allowing the ginger syrup to cool, we will cut and squeeze the orange
As here above
Step 4.
Next we sieve the ginger syrup readily above.
And have the two basic ingredients ready.
Step 5.
Next we mix the two juice here above
Adding the ginger syrup first above
And the orange squeeze into it.
Step 6.
We add the rum above here for that full margarita taste .
And we decorate with a slice.
This cocktail comes together so quickly and easy. The hardest part is just making the simple ginger syrup . But we can always purchase the store readily prepared ginger syrup if the opportunity calls, but I tell you homemade taste so delightful. Enjoy .
