The era of technology is the best era I have come to know and I don鈥檛 think there will be any era greater than this, despite how many people still believes technology brought disasters. Well, this is human nature for you, as they are capitalized and focused only on the disadvantages they see with the invention of technology, and not seeing the greater work it has done and still doing.
I can say that the Gen Z generation is one generation that is well gifted through what innovation and technology brought to them, even though many of this Gen Z鈥檚 are not utilizing the vast opportunity giving to them through this inventions because of the shadows they are chasing. Although, we the Millennium also have had the opportunity to enjoy this technology seeing how easy , faster and less stressful it made life when compared to the old days before the invention of technology. When life appeared to be dark with no head way.
For me, I will choose this era of technology ten times over the old days when life seemed to be standing still without head way. And I don鈥檛 know and cared about others who believed that old days without technology is better than now. Everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion and with individual perceptions . But who wants to go back to those days when communication was so hard?
I still remembered vividly back then when my mother left the city 馃寙 where we were living to another city in the Eastern Nigeria 馃嚦馃嚞 to take care of my sister who delivered a new born baby. After we took her to the back to board a vehicle 馃殫 , our hearts was never at peace because we could not communicate with the driver. And even the wired telephone number given to us by the driver for their Eastern office was not reachable. In fact we could not go to bed to sleep as we waited to see if my sister will call us that she has picked my mother up. The anxiety 馃槬 was so much for all us.
This is the same telephone we are all carrying about today. Some people even carry three phones around. Connecting with family, friends and business associates in seconds. We can connect with the world easily, getting vital informations and being more informed because of how accessible telephones has become.
How about how life has become so easy with technology? People are opening all kinds of businesses that connects online. Formerly, fund transfers are only done through the bank and some times can even take days because of how people are lined up. But now we can move money 馃挵 all around the world even from our living room.
The POS magic for money transfer and withdrawals has really created work for many individuals who could not find employment. This self employment opportunity is a way that many are sustaining today while rendering their services to others who through this means are enjoying easy, faster and less stressful means of carrying out their daily life activities .
Technology is doing greater things, although has its own disadvantages just like many other things in life. We have made friends all around the world 馃寧, sign up into many platforms for jobs or businesses, and can even study online. All these we can do through our phones 馃摫 or computer 馃捇 .
In conclusion, we need to know that the advantages technology has offered us is more greater than the disadvantages we see. And for this I can never believe that the old era is better than this time that has vast opportunities for this young generation, especially for those who know that they need to make out something big with this era in place because change will keep happening. Who knows what next awaits the world 馃寧.
