# Hello community 😍!!!
We all have many times hard the word that “blood is thicker than water”. And when we see this word any where, its all about family. Although oftentimes, we can easily ignore this word in critical situations and conditions, taking actions that might bring regrets when families are involved ,so its not always easy to cut off a family member.
No matter our level in life. I mean where we are now, where we are dreaming to be in the nearest future, what we have and who ever we think we are, there is one thing that supersedes all these things, which is family. Family is the only thing money 💰 can not buy because family is only by blood 🩸.
Born into a family of six and growing up to see how everyone believes being in unity with one another is the best lifestyle any family needs to go through good times and bad times. I grew up to see my father as a businessman who is always on the move but not having enough time for his children because my mother was making sure to carry all of us along. Although even while my father was not there always, he was supporting us financially which sometimes its not what the children need most. Children as I believe also needs love from parents.
But my mother and my siblings made me to understand that love is what we can get either from a mother, a father and even your siblings which is why everyone in the family believed in my father, giving him the due respect he deserves even though he was not always there for us which might have given us the emotions of developing hatred for him.
Many times children grow up in a home where all they expected did not work accordingly due to one problem or the other which needs just some explanations to put everyone at ease. Because as time went by I began to understand all the sacrifices my father was making for us even though he does stay home like a week or two before he leaves again for his trade businesses which was the avenue for all the financial support we the children are getting. And with his financial support and my mother’s right decision making my siblings and I were able to take the right part which lead to most achievements in our lives.
I don’t think there has been anything that came in the way between my family and I even now that my parents are both resting in heaven. My siblings and I sometimes can disagree in things that we want to carry out or do, but in most cases we will all seat together again to discuss the way forward. Its never easy to cut off a family member no matter what ever the case might be because at the end its our responsibilities to look out for one another which I have enjoyed so much from my family.
My junior sister who is married with kids will always call me for one support or the other which I always does support her when I know I have some money 💰 that I might share for both of us since I have my family too. But sometimes I might not have and making her to understand might not work, so all she will do is keep some distance or malice . And as the senior sister, I will never take this to heart ❤️. Once I have some funds come my way, I will immediately call her and send some money to her. This is what family is.
Family is not like friendships where we might see things the other way round. Some friends might be people who are dragging us down because we can not easily agree or understand each other. This is where “letting go” comes in to take place. In situations where I feel am not moving in the right pace because of a friend or friendship, its in my hands to choose to let go of the person or stay stuck to the person.
Its is very obvious we know that people are different in personalities, mindset, understanding and judgment. We need to always believe in ourselves when trying to prove and show others what we are made of even though they might not see it the way we are seeing it. Some friendships can be put in a hold or let go if we see that its not in our best interest especially when we are trying to achieve some certain goals in life.
In conclusion, letting go generally is not an easy choice to make, but considering ourselves first in some certain situations especially when we feel that we are being dragged back. Holding onto what will not help me in the long last is a choice I will not make to avoid regrets since as an adult I account for myself.
