Deep cleaning is always time consuming. I decided years ago that clutter made my life more complicated than it needed to be. I got rid of so many years of "stuff" given as gifts, bought on a whim, or passed down from parents passing. My rooms have minimal furnishings now, and only a few items to decorate. It sure makes cleaning so much easier and quicker. No need for upgrades in this house. lol
