I find it lovely that you have precious things of your family to hold dear to your heart. When I was a young girl my grandmother taught me hoe to quilt using old clothing and scrap fabrics to create a quilt. Every one of her children of twelve and her first grandchildren from each family received one made by her totally sewn by hand as a keepsake. Our roots hold precious meaning and now you are creating yours to pass on. 😍
