I too had a lot of rainfall and many of the pepper plants got to be 3-4' tall but had little fruit. I am making the most of it with salsas of different kinds along with freezing the rest for the winter months. It is great that you found so many mushrooms in the forest. I know you will enjoy them over the winter too.
