Looking through tons of photos taken over many years, I came across this one of a random shed in the middle of a forest. I have no idea what it was for or why it was there, but I just had to photograph it.
Perhaps it is the texture of the subject that grabs my eye. The gnarly roots of this old tree stump by the creek just screams to be a black and white photo.
The gate to my vegetable garden with snow on the rails was perfect as is.
Wintertime, after a fresh snowfall always create interesting photos. This evergreen shrub in my yard was heavy laden with wet snow. Personally, I think it is beautiful.
This stack of wood covered in snow creates a lot of depth in this photo. I also like how the evergreen branches look like Grinch hands ready to pick up sticks.
