Meet Mika, our Shitsu-Maltese who is certainly living a wonderful life. She is sitting on the back porch watching the wildlife come and go.
She is watching the fence line for any intruders into the yard. Occasionally, she will leap off and chase a squirrel from time to time, making her long wait worthwhile.
She is such a sweet little companion and just loves being outside with me while I garden.
One of her favorite past times is to take daily walks about the neighborhood. On this day we took her to our local park at the bay, and she had to sniff every inch of the place.

Later in the afternoon she insists on playing tug of war with one of her toys. There is no getting out of that task as she will follow us around the house with her toy in her mouth. Now, how could you say no to such cuteness.?
If it is too cold or raining outside, our afternoon is spent sitting on mom's lap for a quick snooze while I read a book.
Another satisfying day in Mika's life and off to bed we go for some sweet dreams, I know because she whimpers, and her feet move while she's sleeping. We just adore her! If you are a fellow pet owner, I know you can relate to how much they fill up your day.
