New Life In The Garden-Scape
There is something that is so special about seeing all the new life emerging all around me. After a long, cold winter with dreary days, the trees and flowers budding delight my soul. The rain showers have helped everything to begin blooming. It is so refreshing to see these species of tulips which make me smile every time they bloom. They are like a ray of warm sunshine to me.
Yellow Tulips
All of my tulips are ready to face another day enjoying the warmth of the much-needed sunshine. I too am ready to be outside to play in my gardens, photograph the lovely flowers, and soak in all the beauty surrounding me.
Facing The Morning Sun
I am so glad that the deer that visit my yard left these for me to enjoy. They tend to snack on the new leaves as they begin popping up. Thankfully they missed this grouping and I get to have them to myself this year. :-)
A Lonely Parrot Tulip
Maybe the deer are not fond of the yellow tulips as this one was untouched as well. I think after it finishes blooming I am going to dig it up and move it into the large group above. We certainly don't want it to be lonely now, do we?
Grape Hyacinthe
These little purple flowers are the closet companion to my parrot tulip. They spread very quickly throughout some of my rock gardens. They are all volunteers from my neighbor's gardens. She planted a few in a clump many years ago and now they pop up here and there for me to enjoy too.
Epimedium
The flowers on this shade plant are so tiny that if you did not get down to take a peek at them you would miss them entirely. My favorite part of this plant is the heart-shaped leaves which I will enjoy all summer long. Can you feel the love vibes coming towards you through mother natures little gems?
