Winter decided to bring some fresh snow to western, N.Y. This is only the third time it has snowed all winter for us. I took the opportunity to get a few pictures to share from around my home.
A fresh dusting of snow on top of the Hemlock just before the storm rolled in.
I woke up to find a wintery wonderland and was surprised how much it snowed overnight.
The birdhouse covered with snow reminds me of an old English cottage you might find in the countryside.
It was just a few days back when the sun was shining brightly and it was quite warm for February. All the birds were staking their claims on which birdhouse would be home for raising their young this spring.
My husband shoveled a path to the greenhouse for me since I have some hydroponics going in there.
The Holly bush is covered in snow and I see a few fresh deer prints going across my lawn.
If it wasn't so cold out I would have taken a drive to the local park to get a few pictures but the cold air was just too crisp for me.
The Cedar tree looks so pretty dressed in white.
My little girl was having way too much fun running through the snow in the backyard. Her fur is loaded with snowballs and I had to put her into a tub of warm water to melt them off of her.
The following day was the same thing all over again as she loved burying her face in the snow. It was time for another dip in the warm water followed by a long nap in the sunshine to warm up.
We will be having another round of warm weather and the snow is already half-melted. I wonder if we will get any more or if spring will arrive early this year. Have a great week ahead my friends and...
Until next time, this is Sunscape
