I believe I found a few doorways into the enchanting world of fairies. Look at all the little, dark openings among all the moss-lined tree roots. I am sure there is a fairy world underneath that moss canopy, what do you think?
As I continued walking through the paths in the forest I found quite a few places where ones imagination could take them into another world.
These tangled roots were very interesting to me with so many little pockets of emptiness underneath.
This tree was by far my favorite for the character of its root system just sprawling every which way. It just amazes me to see so many different types of patterns from within one stretch of forest I walked in. It takes one to another place in time somehow just enjoying the peace and quiet of these old, moss-laden trees.
