I agree, Neli. The birds love the gardens and bird baths. It brings me so much joy seeing them everyday.

I am so sorry that your friend and mentor is struggling with stomach cancer. Your writing about your time together felt healing for you somehow. I know your prayers for her will bring her comfort and peace

Stunning capture of the point at peak! I can imagine the mountains covered in full color. It would be an amazing sight to see. Our leaves are not changing too much yet, but they are starting to fall,

Jalapeno peppers were outstanding this year, so many to process. I love Cowboy Candy and still have some left from canning last year. This year I diced them to make Jalapeno-Cheddar biscuits and bread

At least the fence lines are intact for another year. I can imagine how huge that rose got; they can really take over. Hopefully, you can get some much-needed rest soon.

Thank you, @mrdani12. You made me smile!

Exactly, that's why I've pushed so hard to get it all done earlier than normal. I did bring some of the zinnias into the house and enjoyed them for a few days. Today, it is going to rain again. So, cleaning

Thank you so much!

I hope you do get a chance to buy those apples. I love making that apple bread; everyone loves it!

That seems like a lot of walking for you through the pasture. Then tackling those freezers, you must have been spent for the day. Geez!

Glad you found someone to take out that ivy. It looks so much better now! Interesting way to keep lemons; I hope it works well for you. Have a great day, Pam.

That was so nice of your neighbor to share her melons with you. I could smell it from here, lol. I had quite a few from my garden this year, and they were so sweet.

Now that I've seen your post on the pumpkin patch, it's time for me to take a ride to our local farm market. I do it every October and take the hayride through the spooky woods decorated with scary things.

I love seeing the museum honoring him. What a great tribute that his family sent these items to Belgrade. He was such an enlightened man.

Hi Melinda. The birds do seem brighter these days. I'm already missing them, though; they seem to have migrated this past week along with the hummingbirds and monarchs. Fall has certainly arrived.

Thank you, Hylene. I do love having so many birds come to the flower gardens. I grow a lot of different Zinnias for them to enjoy. They offer so much beauty to the yard and are so easy to grow from seed.

Glad to hear your birds enjoy the gardens too. I do love having so many different ones that come to the yard. Nature is so peaceful and beautiful to enjoy.

Thanks, Abi. I love having the birds enjoy my yard and birdbaths.

Thank you, Melinda. Not only the lake but the bay. This road with the park runs between them. It is such a great place to walk.

Once again, your musings have touched my heart! I hope to be remembered as one who loved life and appreciated others.
