RE: They Say It Comes In Threes - Half Bath Remodel - by Sunscape
Thanks, @coinjoe, the drywallers are putting another coat of mud on the walls as we speak. This is a process but we are on the downside of it now.

RE: They Say It Comes In Threes - Half Bath Remodel - by Sunscape
Hi Denisse, this was just another one of those unexpected, expensive projects. But, in the long run, the bathroom will be updated, which is a good thing, right? How are you doing? I think of you often

RE: Earthly Paradise at Easter
What a lovely sentimental post, sharing your fond memories. How wonderful that you are so happy with your life back at the coast, but really, you have to stop hurting yourself!

RE: Kicking Off The 2026 Gardening Season!
Thanks, the critters seem to like taking a bite out of many of the berries. Would you believe it is snowing again, geeze! Happy harvesting.

RE: The Worst is Done - April 3 & 4, 2026@goldenoakfarm
Your yard must look so beautiful with all the bulbs you have planted in the gardens. That's one thing I don't do a lot of due to the deer eating them all the time.

RE: Garden Journal Update for April - Hydroponics Started - by Sunscape
I have 50 onions, each of the Walla Walla, red, and Spanish, then 30 bunching onions. I may have overdone it!

RE: Anti DIY Garden Tidy Up
Another huge job done, and it looks so nice and tidy. Those lava rocks really add character to the space. Have fun planting.

RE: Mid-week Growers Check In - What's Happening in the Greenhouse - by Sunscape
Oh my! It's tough when we grow so much and run out of room, lol. I have that problem every year. Those seeds can be so small, right? If I were younger, I would make more room, but at 70, that isn't happening

RE: Are You Old Enough To Remember?
Oh my! That had me chuckling throughout. How great that you remembered having that one in the basement, and it still worked for you. Old-school items can't be beat in my opinion @owasco. Good job!

RE: Kicking Off The 2026 Gardening Season!
You have so much up and growing already with your warmer climate. You will be harvesting in no time. Those squirrels and chipmunks can be pesky sometimes. They eat my strawberries and first tomatoes, lol.

RE: And One More – April 1, 2026@goldenoakfarm
All the daffodils look so colorful. Mine are budding but not open yet, probably this week though. I miss having roses, but hubby doesn't like trimming them, so once they died off, I never replaced them.

You certainly can pack a lot of different activities into one day. I get tired just by watching you via the posts, lol.

RE: Mid-week Growers Check In - What's Happening in the Greenhouse - by Sunscape
If I water heavily, I only do it every other day. But mostly, I top them all a little each day if they look dry. When it is cloudy out, they stay wet longer, but you're right, the fans do dry them out
