It is sad to see that you lost your spinach to the failed motor. I know how much effort it takes to set it all up. I too, had a power outage once and lost my entire crop in the hydroponics. Sad for sure.

I just saw your post and love how much you love the weeds, the elementals, and letting nature take care of the land. I too am ruthless with the crabgrass as it suffocates everything. I grow so many flowers

It is like adding it to the soup if it were fresh but you have to cook it for a long time. Pressure-canning it cooks it fully and I just add it to the soup near the end of the cooking time. It beats wasting

The cukes just did not do well that's why I saved them for the water. I am pulling some squash plants today as the vines are done for the most part. Sure has been an odd growing year.
