Jerusalem is a very unique city in the whole world. It was the capital of the old Davidic Kingdom in the Bible. It has a long history yet very much neglected for centuries.
The most spectacular thing is that it is the center of 3 major world religions: Christianity, Islam and Judaism. All three religions regard Jerusalem as its HOLY SITE. All have their own form of worship and religious practices and traditions. They are not in unison and yet they have to co-exist within the same tiny space. No wonder there is a high level of tension in the atmosphere.
耶路撒冷是全世界非常独特的城市。这是圣经中大卫王国的首都。它有很长的历史，但几个世纪以来一直被忽视。
最叫人惊讶的是：它是三大宗教的中心：基督教，伊斯兰教和犹太教。三个宗教都把耶路撒冷视为圣地。各自有自己的宗教习俗和传统，崇拜形式。并不一致，但他们必须在同一个小小的空间内共存。难怪气纷随时都是紧张的。
