Dark winter days make me think of spring and the colours they bring. Back in May I took this image, wet knee but worth it.
Shooting towards the sun has brought me great rewards, I have been using this method most of this year and really enjoy the results. Getting up early is another bonus, with the light and few people around, you get the chance to go places with fewer interuptions! The sensors on modern DSLR's help & with a lot of time to fiddle in post processing, these sort of images can be worthwhile. In Lightroom - shadows were enhanced, highlights lowered and colours boosted along with extra contrast and clarity in the detailed areas. I lowered the exposure even further on the highlights on the ground & leaves to bring them into the image more. Changing the green colour hue settings towards yellow makes for a more natural and warm looking colour. Saved in Jpeg Pro photo, 500px
