Notice you said "mostly island paradises", which is highly unlikely there wasn't some form of a hierarchy in those tribes similar American Indian hierarchy, don't even have to be as organized as that even for a hierarchy to exist. No where in history can it be proven without a doubt, that such a paradise exist that you mention.
