Life can be difficult for a lot of children struggling with issues at home, and I often would tell my grand kids before dropping them off at school, "these people have a genuine love for kids, they got up today, made it here for you on time, always remember to show them respect for that." It's often the smaller influences in life that can make a difference, a school year with a teacher, caring and showing compassion towards kids, what a wonderful story you told.
