Elon can't be trusted for a word coming out of his mouth. There was another clip where he talked about teachers who went to Las Vegas and partied on covid funds. The teachers applied to, I think it was in Utah, state board of education to attend a teachers educational conference in Utah and was approved. They went and they also got the lowest grade rooms. Now, like I said in anther comment, one can argue whether covid funds should have been used for that purpose or not, it's not the teachers fault that the government didn't set guidelines for what the funds could be used for, or set up a "coding" system for billing, like you see in the medical industry, everything has a code number, you look up the number and it tells you what the billing was for. Elon's tarnishing of the teachers, as he doubled down and said they partied on the money, and that their should have been a code system in place at a minimum, is neither here nor there considering the teachers had no power to set the rules. There was another example of a school district who rented a stadium for graduation, he doesn't mention when they did that, it could have been at the height of the pandemic, which basically there would have been some justification for doing so. Keeping families and students safe while their students get to graduate in a normal type fashion to what they were use to instead of just saying, sorry, here's your diploma, pat them on the back and send them on their way after all those years working toward that big day. The ice cream truck purchase, and pool passes, those were bewildering, but again, who sat up the rules? Whose fault is it really that guidelines weren't implemented.
Elon wouldn't have any idea how unemployment funds are structured. I haven't been on unemployment in decades but the standard use to be that if you worked two days or less in a work week, you could apply for unemployment for the three days you didn't work. That's why the auto industry, of which I was employed for several years, use to set up slow periods, like the two weeks off slow down for changeover to the new car years, and between Christmas and New Years, they'd plan it so you worked the first three days of a week before lay off, and call you back the last three days of the next week, with the holiday period, if could be structured to include a holiday paid day to get them to where they wanted to be so they wouldn't see increased unemployment rates for laying off workers. So if that's still the case today, if Elon fired them all on Monday, and a court order him to rehire them by Thursday, they can claim unemployment for those three days they didn't work. Elon might act like the brightest bulb in the room but he isn't, he has no idea how the real world works, just his imagination of how it should work in his world view and why he loves China so much.

You know it's debatable what should be scrubbed from access to what young kids should be influenced by in a world where it's nearly impossible to control what kids get access to. You may not mind it, but parents do, and not only do parents but I'd had experiences with similar to worse lyrics in words being involuntarily foisted upon me and my grand kids from the basketball court across the street. It might be one thing if they kept it down to where others weren't subjected to it but sometimes that doesn't always hold true. So yeah, there's no way I can agree under any "free speech" rights that people like Ye or any other artist has a free right to access those kinds of detrimental words onto young minds. I don't even mince words if I have to call the cops about it, I ask them when someone has time can they come and shut down the "stick my dick up my bitch whore pussy" music down at the park. You can't convince me this doesn't influence young minds. I see it with my own kids use of expletives, and now their kids, becoming teenagers, accidently thinking no ones around to here them using it, use it. Imagine what they are saying among their friends. Despite telling them, it will become so common, you'll slip and say it around someone who'll report it and you'll get expelled for a couple days, which has happened. We shouldn't be teaching our kids this is common language to be using, the more you use it, hear it, the greater the chance it will slip out naturally around someone who'd rather not hear it, and you could end up even getting fired over it some day. This is how bad it is at times. There some young African American kids last year that took a rental bike and dismantled its meter. You could always here them coming because once you dismantle it, it makes this weird sound. This year when I heard them still using it, when I was cleaning out my basement someone left an adult bike here, so I decided if I heard them coming I'd run out there and tell them I have a bike for them if they want it. All he kept yelling at me was to shut up white bitch. I guess I can look at the bright side of it and say they probably only have the rental bike still is because no one wants to steal already stolen property, whereas I give them the bike, I'd have to make sure they got something to lock it up with. It's a classic schwin collection bike, still in great shape, so maybe I'll just give it to one of my grand kids instead, but the object was to get rid of stuff I'd have to store in the winter. lol.
