It's extremely shocking that you don't know that Jerusalem is the home to the three holiest sites on the earth and are all situated within a fifteen minute walk, one Jewish, one Muslim and one Christian. Yes there are a lot of other holy sites strewn about in the middle east, separately, apart from other religious affiliations, but Jerusalem holds the most significance among three prominent religions.

(figuratively) The first thing out of Trumps mouth after the Oct 7th attack was how he was never going to forget how Bibi didn't come through on the targeted killing of Soleimani. Trump: "The night before it happened I get a call that Israel will not be participating in the attack, I will never forget that Bibi Netanyahu let us down." It was his way of saying he was tired of Netanyahu letting them down. After Netanyahu returned to office the plan to sell a majority stake in Israel's largest bank Phoenix to Abu Dhabi, which won preliminary approval before his return to office but still had to go through regulatory approval, the regulatory approval didn't go through, that was on July 27, 2023. What has taken place since is why Kushner, in his Harvard interview, could sit there so smug and say that "I am still optimistic talking about the funding with Israel, I don't think now it's a matter of if, but when, how and for what." This is the same person who said he thought of Netanyahu as an obstructionist, rejectionist and that he's committed himself to Israel for a long time, maybe to long in my opinion. He called the defense department heads the same thing, said Trump appointed him as proxy to the middle east on the Abraham Accords because defense officials would sabotage the plan. Those same defense officials called him a young naïve man. They also have made it perfectly clear that once this debacle is over they expect Netanyahu to resign. All of that is why she refuses to call Netanyahu an ally, nor Israel, because in Trump's world view of things, if you are costing money, you lose, that's why he sent Kushner off to the UAE first, then off to SA, to get the commitment of fifty billion dollars if they could clear Hamas out of Gaza first. If it wasn't for the relationship between the American people and Israel, my opinion is, they'd fed Israel to the Arabs, and it just might still happen, just not before the election but before a Trump return if he's re-elected.
