That's nothing new when it comes to the price of Velveeta, it's always been expensive. My sister used to make a fantastic cheese dip out of it also. I got the recipe from her and once I set my eyes on the price of the Velveeta, it was rare opportunity around here to splurge on a box. Usually a holiday treat, not every holiday at that. I wouldn't even want to look at the price now with inflation, coupled with Trump's trade agreements that has seen our beef flying out of this country, 386% increase to China alone. Now I don't have to just battle inflation, but the global community just to find some affordable burger. Once inflation drops, that global competition thing is never going away.
