If politics worked as advertised than you'd know that the GI generation wielded the majority of the power over the boomers for years just like the boomers held majority of the power over gen z for years. It's an inter mix of generations. One group only holds the majority of power for a small time frame in time, not enough to blame one group over the other intensely as you are trying to do.
