What had become known as the 3+1, Cyprus, Greece, Israel and Trump ended up being abandon apparently because it wasn't worth the investment. Billions to put in the infrastructure for approx 20 years worth of natural gas unless they get lucky and find more. So it was determined to put in electric grid from Israel to Cyprus, Greece, that was to be completed by 2025. Basically Trump knew it was a dud when he signed the agreement, which like I said they worked on for years, years being since 2013, but they never got anywhere with it because it wasn't worth investors to invest. Ironically though Trump even though he trotted it out as some great accomplish, that he obviously knew would never be, was glad underneath (part of his sneaky underhanded deceptions) it wasn't going to be because the US was preparing to jump on board Europe's transition. Less competition the better. It's even skeptical now at this point that Trump wasn't the only one happy about it...because Europe is gas happy to find new sources of gas. Which brings us to where it is now, with an investor willing or hoping to sign onto an investment decision by the end of this year to do the project but the gas won't be going anywhere but to Europe. The cost to put it in will be paid by Europe. It will though be connected to already established pipeline in the sea, Gaza has nothing to do with it getting done or not, just like in prior planning. Something like Gaza wouldn't stop Israel from getting to the gas, especially since we know they are already have their own pipelines out there. This pipeline fight has been going on for a long time, it was once even in consideration to run it through Syria than on into Turkey off to Europe. Don't quote me on it but I think it was from Qatar, Syria onward to Turkey than off to Europe. Like I said that was a big part of the fight because they didn't want Syria, friends with Iran, to be involved, plus Israel doesn't get along with Turkey very well. So forward to now with this new possible agreement it sort of stabs Trump and Turkey. So now you have a possible second reason why Trump would come out and say Bibi let him down in a round about way when he said he was never going to forget how he let him down when he went after Soleimani and the night before Bibi called him up and told him Israel wouldn't participate. It's just really strange Trump would make a remark like that given the attack Israel had just suffered. It doesn't make any sense. So the mystery now deepens.
