Meat packing is a nasty job. That's already being automated itself. The announcement by Tyson they were shutting down some plants had nothing to do with profit losses as stated. If you take a look they announced, if I remember correctly without having to look again, in 2021 they were building new state of the art manufacturing facilities that would automate a lot of the meat processes. I think that's why they offered to those who they laid off if they wanted to relocate they'd still have a job with some having to go through retraining processes.
