I wondered that myself as the original article written on it the DNR guy said they have places for animals that become injured and can't live in the wild anymore....why didn't he just set it up to take them someplace rather than kill them. You have to be really hateful to take a racoon who is blind and has down syndrome and kill it after all the poor things been though.
