Bud Light doesn't make the top ten selling brands in the US. Bud is the number one beer but the light beer isn't even in the top ten. Miller beer doesn't make the top ten either but Miller Light does. Now Busch, which I think is an awful beer and Natural Light which I consider even worse make the top ten, and given, like you said and I can attest living in the city considered the brewing capitol of the US, there's breweries around every corner here it appears, that yes they are into micro brewed beers. Given such that it's the snobs, as you attest, that are drinking it my assumption on this would be that maybe they are aiming for market share of the trash beer drinkers who drink Bush and Natural Light....but like you said who really knows.
