Being one of my favs on Hive of course it's hard to shoot you as the messenger but sometimes it is what it is, it's not the left who wanted the message removed it was the right because it didn't fit in with the narrative they want to portray of DeSantis. Actually this was perfect timing so to speak because Tucker just ran part of the interview he had with DeSantis several months back when they first started grooming DeSantis into position. The fact of the matter is is that you can't be part of a secret elitists' club at the same time it's out there that you were, so that's why they removed it. I actually videoed the discussion but I guess you can't download videos from your computer on here. It was a segment Tucker did last Wednesday the day after the election he ran a sound bite again of the interview he did on his early morning Fox News program several months back.

Tucker: So you went to Harvard, you went to Yale, you were a navel officer, you served in congress for six years, certainly been around a lot of the elite institutions, you ignored them as they criticized you.

DeSantis: Of course yes.

Tucker: Why?

DeSantis: Well first of all when I first went to Yale, I grew up in Florida, a blue collar kid, I showed up my first day in jean shorts and a t shirt because that's what we wore on the west coast of Florida, it was a major culture shock, not something that was received very warmly and I never quite fit in there and it was a total culture shock to me and I really rebelled against that leftist orthodoxy I saw on campus and when I see those in other institutions, and so I always had a really strong distrust of some of the elites in American society cause I think they've gotten a lot of things wrong over the years so that was actually natural. I don't seek the approval of elites. I got elected by people here in Florida, those are the folks I was elected to serve. I really don't care what people in the beltway, New York City think about what we're doing in Florida.

Tucker: It's just interesting because you see it a lot of people come from some little town, providence, and they show up at Yale or Harvard law or become a navel law school officer which I don't think it's that different, it is an elite institution and they decide this is the world I really love, these are the values I really believe in, it sounds like you came away from your experience more contemptuous.

DeSantis: I appreciate where I came from quite frankly. I mean I remember going to Yale, sitting in class and I never heard anybody criticize America, like everything was about how bad America was in some of those classes, I never heard anybody, I'd go to church, I never heard anybody criticize god or Christianity..it was just, it was also Yales motto, for god for country for Yale, they hated god, they hated country and they obviously had a weird way of going to this institution so seeing that was really eye opening and I realized very early on this was not quite where I personally fit in.

Obviously he fit in well enough to join a secret society of elites. If you watch the interview you can see he's trying hard to convince people of something of which it wasn't. What is he like in his forties now? I don't think it was quite that bad over twenty years ago, if it was you never heard anything of it. If you've watched Tucker for any number of years like I have you can see he has a real disconnect with this interview and he knows this is part of a game he's been directed to play. You can tell it pains him to even be doing it. Tucker isn't into this rah, rah for the red, white and blue, let's return to the greatest of what America once represented, he's an apologist, anybody who has watched him interact with Tulsi Gabbard, another apologist, you can clearly see it. Yeah there's things the country probably shouldn't have involved themselves in but it's not a good thing to think the whole system needs to be torn down and revamped because the reality is tearing down and going on an apology tour could one day lead to seeing your head chopped off for some people there's no apologizing and some even if tried your hardest to respect their culture, their way of life, accepted them as they were it wouldn't be good enough because you are not like them, if you are not like them than you need to be eliminated before your unlikeness could spread.

So sorry ol' chap but another fox in sheep's clothing is still a fox in sheep's clothing.
