My son must have thought his day was rather mundane after having stopped by and took a dip in the grand kids swimming pool, talking me into fixing him something to eat than wondering off and not answering his phone. His girlfriend called and said tell him the house is on fire. I said he left here, than went out to see him hanging outside the corner store with his buddies probably thinking he's funny ignoring our calls. I jump in the car and I can just imagine by the look on his face he telling his buds he can't even escape for a few minutes which within seconds that face disappeared when I told him the attic to your house is fire better get home. Luckily the guy who lives upstairs smelled the smoke early enough that the fire department was able to contain it before it burnt through the roof. This really should have been mothers day because that surely was a gift to me otherwise I'd have four additional occupants.
