I hear you. My son said to me the other day he might need to move back in with me, him and his girl might need a break. As much as it pained me I had to tell him I liked my life just the way it was. It didn't sound like a I think I need to use the doghouse for a few days type thing so if I absolutely don't have to I'd rather prefer not to. I am of the impression he's not trying hard enough right now, he's been through some rough stuff the last year but I think he has been stabilizing out enough to give him a little push. A "try a little harder and if things don't work I'll reexamine the situation" type thing.
