I wanted to try the sauce first on something small rather than to make homemade burritos only to find the sauce wasn't as good as described. I like to keep a package of those small frozen burritos on hand in case I don't feel like cooking so it seemed like a good pick for an experiment. It wasn't bad using the burritos, had I known the sauce was going to come out so exceptional I might have tried making homemade burritos. I just couldn't believe that this sauce, packs of brown gravy mix and red enchilada was all that was used at a restaurant here that was highly popular back in the day to make their sauce for wet burritos. Something so inexpensive for something that tasted so great just didn't appear to jive. But it did. It's really good and I'd recommend the sauce highly for homemade burritos.
