I just happen to have read a study a couple weeks back explaining how they were looking at the ACE receptor binding domains and them mentioning that dogs and cats are susceptible to corona but it's often not severe, ferrets were severely susceptible and pangolin's were not at all, that's why their focus was on bats and pangolins. It makes sense because if it crossed over to humans and was not a direct result of someone eating or being bitten by a bat then it had to come from another species that was bitten by a bat then crossed over into humans that that animal would have had to survive contracting the disease from the bat and not be to ill (if you believe that animal made it 900 miles to Wuhan) (lol) to travel nine hundred miles.
