I've got you beat....well at least I can beat you at something I should say, lol, I've been better of five years going to redo a picnic table. The closest it got anything done to it was replacement of two boards after a huge tree fell on part of it. The sanding it smooth part would be the most time consuming I figured, then days of staining, sealing with some type of varnish....but that tung oil grabbed my attention, seemed simple enough, does it waterproof the table for quite awhile?
