Coupons I got in the mail from Burger King last week no longer had the infamous "buy one get one free" whopper coupon. There are many changes happening during this "new normal" crap, our largest retailer always had a monthly ten for ten and the eleventh one free. You buy any items on sale for a buck that adds up to spending ten dollars you got the eleventh one free. They reduced the amount of items offered, they use to have some pretty good deals thrown in among the stuff that is usually close enough to a dollar it didn't really matter if you bought it for a buck or opted to pay an extra twenty cents for it...but things like throwing in fresh mushrooms for a buck was a bargain deal for eight ounces of fresh mushrooms. Some of the stuff the have listed is usually a buck a box anyway like Rice A Roni. I have enough of that to last me for the next year probably, they were on clearance a few weeks ago two boxes for a buck and I bought several of them. But yeah if prices are going up at the grocery store and restaurants they are reducing the number of bargains. Another thing I can't stand is that their workers come in on third shift to stock...meaning if something is on sale and you are a late night shopper the items are already sold out for the day. I can't wait until they get back to where you can shop twenty four hours, seems like we went backwards decades in that regard. Everything shuts down early now.
