Things not only seemed more lively back when I joined but you are right you could find subjects and topics much more easily before they went to these communities. Communities has destroyed the whole environment. You can't find relevant topics, search for anything, hell you comments don't even show up after you hit post. You have to go to your profile to see them. Remember when you upvoted someone and it actually showed up?...that doesn't happen anymore either. It's like your comments and upvotes go off into another dimension somewhere before arriving at Hive. If I check all my notifications then blog for awhile and notice someone left me a new notification I have to open a new browser window to see it. That's how I knew my upvote the other day was worth a penny to someone, I upvoted them after commenting, they commented back, I couldn't see their comment in notifications after being notified so I closed out my browser and reopened in a new one, I could then see them in notifications, clicked on the notice and seen the comment and that my upvote to them gave them a penny. It's crazy for sure. I liked the old way of doing things where you had tags and could go through the authors, read what they wrote and decide if you liked them or not.
