Except yesterday all our problems weren't so far away they were just obscured. Obscured by a vision that our own government wouldn't sell us on down the road let alone propagandized a virus to assert authoritarian dictatorship. I remember many times during the eighties telling people if they didn't get up and fight for their jobs one day they wouldn't have their job. They laughed in my face and ultimately I'd come to lose just about every job I ever held because I firmly believed that what was transpiring with the auto industry back then would go on to entail an intrusion into just about anything we manufactured. I'll admit to that being a work alcoholic played into that scenario of job losses but ultimately behind that was the fact I also enjoyed the fruits of my labor which one day we wouldn't have any fruits bestowed upon us if we kept letting foreign competition of low wages defeat us. By the late 1990's I'd had just about enough of beating that war drum and losing and totally shifted gears into the beauty industry. I had no sympathy at all for the lot of them that due to their own inactions lost factory after factory and ironically ended up in the same position they ultimately would always send me spiraling into: job losses, because it was always easier to get rid of me then have them midwits undermine the supervisor who'd lost his job because they managed to sabotage the schedule in an objective to get rid of me. Fast forward decades later though it's been a rough road watching my kids try and make a living off what I made back then. Many people failed to see the writing on the wall when it was early enough to do something about it. Now it's come so far forward that the forces they have empowered all these years wield, as have come completely apparent in this last election, unfathomable might over the masses in defense of the millions they've made and are using to defend that which they let them take from them for their own self enrichment. Who'd really thought those many years ago we'd went from a generation of older adults who parents, grandparents went through wars defending freedoms, who'd never thought their government would forsake them, would be sitting in the same chair as those whom we once went to war to defend from.
