I think if they were using these modified devices for totalitarian reasons they'd just opted to tell Israeli citizens to heck with it we are going to track you by your cell phones whether you like it or not so it shows they've put a lot of thought about using/modifying/developing a technology that most citizens could agree upon.

Israeli citizens are birds of a different feather. They wouldn't view this virus fiasco as a means to create a totalitarian society but that those outside of their society as having a means or reason to get society in general to submit to such a society. In other words they can see the trees for forest. In essence that's what this is, the threat isn't coming within their own society the threat is coming from within the outside. Face it there isn't no love lost on where those of the radical progressive left and their Chinese love affair being missed here. Israeli's know to defeat them at their own game is going to entail not just defeating the virus but the capability to keep all the mutated strains out of their country until they can find a solution. Of all the people in this world I'd lay my trust in finding the ultimate solution to defeat this potential totalitarian move in society my money lays square on the Israeli's. Where everyone else is quivering in fear well Israeli has never had time for shit like that, they've always been the David's among the Goliaths of this world and I just don't see them taking this sitting down either.
